Single parent adults 18+ residing in Red Deer and surrounding area who are unemployed or marginally employed and seeking opportunities to increase their life management skills and gain meaningful employment.
What is the Life Skills for Single Parents Program?
The program assists single parents 18+ to increase life management skills and access supports and employment in the community of Red Deer. Assistance is provided to individuals who are unemployed or marginally employed through their participation in a structured program, which leads to employment or involvement with further training.
Each participant will develop personalized goals and participate in group learning opportunities to increase life management and employability skills. Participants will receive one-to-one assistance to work towards achieving their identified goals and receive outreach support to assist in connecting to additional community supports and employers. Specific activities offered through this all-inclusive program include:
