Top notch, professional service! Rorie was of great help to me. Within 2 hours of getting my resume and cover letter revamped, I had applied for numerous positions and had 2 interviews setup. I wish I was told of EPSS's existence when I moved to Red Deer in March 2020. They've also are helping both of my kids find their way in this chaotic world.

I went into EPSS for assistance in search for a job, I was directed to Ms. Roberts; a kind as well as a firm personality, which always a joy to came back to. With her help with remaking my resume and broadening my search, I managed to get a job as a personal shopper, then later as a retailer, at the superstore. Grateful for her help and the on-going help she is providing.

I just wanted to express my appreciation to the EPSS staff. In my time with EPSS I have received support in searching for jobs with my job coach via computer and via in person. She took the time to research jobs that would be suitable for my situation. This staff member also contacted me via email and phone to see where I was at with my job search and this was encouraging to me. I have also appreciated the Job Club. It was a valuable asset, I highly recommend it. Hearing other people and their situations made me feel I wasn't all alone in my search. I enjoyed hearing the other conversations with clients and to hear their stories of where they were at; they could advise me on jobs that they have heard about that I may have not. The Job Club facilitator was always good at steering people in the right direction and gave good advice with booklets and documents to help people along with valuable learning tools to apply the right situation to each client's needs. Both the Job Coach facilitator and the Job Coach were fantastic. Hats off to you!

I found usefulness in EPSS during COVID with libraries closed they were the only available resource to provide a photocopier and fax machine. I found that it was very nice to have professionals proof read my cover letters as well.

My Counselor, Rorie Roberts at EPSS has willingly and cheerfully provided assistance above and beyond my expectations in helping me to examine employment opportunities.

During one of the most difficult times I have ever experienced, EPSS was incredibly helpful every step of the way. They worked with me to refresh my resume as well as provided tips and literature regarding interview prep. They also offer online workshops that focus on many different subjects and employment fields. Marina in particular went above and beyond what I expected from an unemployment agency and I will be always grateful for the genuine support I received.

The services that I have been receiving from EPSS have been amazing ever since I joined. All of the staff I have worked with (especially my assigned worker) have been great with assistance, and I would highly recommend these services to anyone else’s in need.
